GrainTradeLink ("we," "us," "our," or the "Platform"), operated by PE "Hazem Saker" (Kyivska oblast, Ukraine), provides a business-to-business (B2B) professional network and marketplace for the international trade of grains, oilseeds, pulses, edible oils, and related commodities and services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the GrainTradeLink mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services. This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service / End User License Agreement (EULA).
2.1 Information you provide directly: account and profile details (name, email, job title, company name, industry role, professional background, regions of operation, languages, certifications such as GAFTA or FOSFA, and any other information you add to your profile); optional information (profile photo, company logo, phone number if you choose to provide it, professional experience entries); content you post (offers, purchase requests, vessel listings, service listings, feed posts, messages, and any text, images, or documents you upload); verification documents; and communications you send us including support requests and reports.
2.2 Information collected automatically: device and technical data (device type, operating system, app version, diagnostic information) and usage data (interactions within the app such as postings created, listings viewed, features used).
2.3 Information from third-party services: we use Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, and related services) to operate the Platform.
We use your information to: create and manage your account and profile; provide, operate, and maintain the Services; display your postings, profile, and content to other users according to the Platform's features and your visibility settings; enable communication between users; verify accounts and professional credentials; respond to inquiries, support requests, and reports; maintain the security and integrity of the Platform, including detecting and addressing fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
With other users: your profile information and the content you post are visible to other users according to the Platform's features and your visibility settings. Do not post information you do not wish to be seen. With service providers: we share information with infrastructure providers (such as Google Firebase) that help us operate the Services. For legal reasons: we may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of GrainTradeLink, its users, or others. We do not sell your personal information.

5.1 No responsibility for trades or transactions. GrainTradeLink is a platform that connects users. PE "Hazem Saker", together with the owners, operators, employees, and affiliates of GrainTradeLink (the "GrainTradeLink Parties"), are not a party to any trade, transaction, negotiation, contract, or dealing of any kind that arises between users, whether initiated on the Platform or elsewhere. The GrainTradeLink Parties hold no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any trade, transaction, payment, delivery, quality, performance, dispute, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or connected to any dealings between users.
5.2 No responsibility for the accuracy of information. All profiles, postings, listings, credentials, company details, and other information on the Platform are provided by users. The GrainTradeLink Parties do not guarantee, verify, or endorse the accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, or legitimacy of any information, and hold no responsibility or liability for any false, misleading, inaccurate, outdated, or fraudulent information posted by users.
5.3 No responsibility for fake accounts or fake information. While we take reasonable measures to maintain the integrity of the Platform, the GrainTradeLink Parties hold no responsibility or liability for any fake, fraudulent, impersonating, or misrepresented accounts, identities, companies, or information.
5.4 It is your responsibility to verify. You are solely responsible for independently checking, verifying, and confirming the identity, credentials, legitimacy, and all information of any other user, company, offer, listing, or counterparty before entering into any communication, negotiation, trade, or transaction. Any action you take based on information found on the Platform is at your own risk. We strongly recommend that you conduct your own due diligence, seek independent professional and legal advice, and use appropriate contractual and payment safeguards before engaging in any trade.
We use industry-standard third-party infrastructure (Google Firebase) to store and secure your information. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in various regions, as determined by our infrastructure providers.
Access and update: you can view and update most of your profile information at any time within the app. Optional fields: providing certain information (such as a phone number) is optional; if you do not provide it, it will not be displayed to any user. Visibility settings: you can control certain aspects of who can see your profile and information through the Platform's settings. Account deletion: you may request deletion of your account from within the app's Settings; upon deletion, your account enters a recovery period during which you may reactivate it, after which your account and associated personal data are permanently removed, subject to any information we are required to retain by law. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights over your personal data (such as access, correction, or erasure); to exercise these, contact us using the details below.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Certain content, such as feed posts and marketplace listings, may be automatically deleted after set periods according to the Platform's features. We may retain certain information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
The Services are intended for business professionals and are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
The Platform serves users in the international commodity trade. By using the Services, you consent to the processing and storage of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, which may involve transfer to and storage in countries other than your own.
This Privacy Policy and any matter relating to it are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
